This privacy statement is intended to give you an understanding of the data we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it. You can visit our site without telling us who you are and without providing any personal information. It is possible that we may need information from you for specific purposes, such as your name and address. We endeavour to inform you at all times before we collect personal information over the internet. If you decide to provide us or our business partners with personal information that we or they need - for example to correspond with you - we will let you know how this information will be used. If you indicate that this information should not be used as a basis for further contact, we will respect that.

Pure handles your data carefully and ensures that your privacy is safeguarded. These are therefore our three privacy promises:

1. We never share your personal information with other parties without good reason.
2. We protect your personal information as if it were our own.
3. We only use your personal information for the purposes described below.

Data Processing Agreement

We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google. This establishes that Google acts as a processor to process personal data from website visitors. The website www.pure4green.com uses the web analysis service Google Analytics to track how visitors use our website and how effective our Adwords ads are on Google search result pages.
Google Analytics uses cookies (text files placed on your computer) to help the website analyse how visitors use the site www.pure4green.com. Cookies may also contain personal data for example about your browsing habits and interests. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is transferred to and stored on servers operated by this service. Read more about cookies in our cookie statement.
Google Analytics uses the information to track how you use the website, compile reports on website activity for website operators and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The provider of this statistics program may provide the information to third parties if it is legally required to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on behalf of the program. The sharing of (personal) data with the web analytics service is enabled. This means that we have allowed Google to use the information obtained for other Google services (such as Google Ads). We use profiling in the form of remarketing, building user profiles and/or being able to offer personalised content.

Processes

We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, and against all other forms of unlawful processing.

Obligation to provide information

Pure aims, and is legally required by the GDPR, to clearly inform new and existing data subjects of the purpose for which personal data is collected and processed. Pure publishes this Privacy Statement through its own website www.pure4green.com and therefore offers a complete and up-to-date overview of the rights of data subjects regarding the collection and processing of personal data. Optionally, additional pop-ups with a permission request can be displayed.

Accountability

Pure aims, and is legally required by the GDPR, to be able to demonstrate that the processing of personal data complies with the key principles of processing:

• Lawfulness
• Transparency
• Purpose limitation
• Accuracy

In addition, Pure bears responsibility for taking the correct technical and organisational measures to protect personal data and for making these transparent at the time that the Dutch Data Protection Authority requests this. Pure is not required to, and will not, maintain a register of processing activities. This is supported by the assessments that Pure has fewer than 250 employees, the processing of personal data is not incidental, no personal data is processed that poses a high risk to the rights and freedoms of data subjects whose data is collected and processed, and no personal data is collected and processed that is classified as “special personal data” such as religion, health, political affiliation and/or criminal data.

Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default

Pure is committed to having a strong focus on protecting personal data when designing services and products. An important part of this is minimising the amount of personal data collected to a nature and extent that only serves the intended purpose and is related to it in good faith and fair dealing. Another criterion that is included in Privacy by Design is the determination of the time period for which the personal data is stored and the communication of this to the data subject. Pure puts the concept of Privacy by Default into effect by using the basic principle in every application development or online campaign setup that only those personal data are collected and processed that are relevant for a specific purpose.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

Pure is not a public organisation or government agency and does not have a core business that involves tracking individuals on a large scale. As a result, Pure does not meet the criteria set by the GDPR regarding the obligation to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO).

Data breach reporting requirement

The European privacy law (GDPR) compels us to take action and measures in case of complaints or data breaches. This reporting requirement means that we must notify the Dutch Data Protection Authority immediately (within 72 hours) as soon as a data breach is detected. Have you discovered a (possible) data breach? If so, please report this to Pure as quickly as possible at servicedesk@pure4green.com. In this email, please include your name, organisation (if applicable), telephone number and a brief description of the (possible) data breach.

Amendments

Pure reserves the right to amend this Privacy Statement at any time with immediate effect and without prior notice. We recommend that you review this Privacy Statement regularly to keep informed of any changes.
